Wii, Wii, Wii…

I still don’t have my Wii. My eldest just asked for a Game Boy so I might end up with that instead. Sigh… We went to Nintendo World in NY Saturday last week but they didn’t have it in stock until the next day. Too bad there’s no plan to go back to NY on Sunday, though. Anyways, good luck to me and to my plans of getting a Wii.
I am still battling between getting a Game Boy or a Nintendo DS (Lite). I’ll go for the one with games in-stock back home in Manila. The safest deal I guess is Game Boy which may drop prices because of Nintendo DS. Cross my fingers…

Wii is Hard to Find

Wii are out-of-stock everywhere here in NJ. I think even in Toys ‘R’ Us and online.
Hello Wii!!! I am really considering buying you but you better show up. You are definitely spoiling the excitement big time.
The guy at GameStop told us that’s it’s been that way for a long time already. Wii’s are the hardest to find console. Is it a strategy to keep the prices high? Or are they simply willing to lose sales because they don’t care. Geez! I’m just disappointed and frustrated about not getting a Wii sooner. A little longer and I might just go for an i-Mate Ultimate… I mean a laptop.

Wii Lose Weight

Finally it is here: a healthy game console. Not that it cooks up salads and 0 trans fat dishes. And, no, it does not hook up to your next diet recipe site on the web and all. It’s just that, the console won’t make you move just your eyes, hands and fingers while you play. Oh, no, it does more than that. It makes you move your entire body.
We all know it’s Wii. But the proof of it’s health benefits are available. And there are also pictures to show. Truly, Wii is revolutionary. While XBox 360 and PS3 continue to keep only your finger muscles toned, Wii helps to get your whole body toned as well. It’s like owning a fully interactive arcade at home. You don’t have to visit Dave & Buster’s to sweat out that burger by posing and acting like a real cop in public while you shoot the criminals off the screen. Now, you can stay at home and try sweating it out with a game of boxing, tennis or bowling.
Right now, I think Wii is the best game console ever. It’s fun. And it’s healthy. Just make sure you won’t break anything with it

Puzzle to Space

It’s amazing how marketing gimmicks can be very creative these days. Although you may not be able to immediately associate it to a product launch event, this puzzle game is sponsored by the company who can afford it.
The puzzle-sweepstakes game generally uses the Earth as it’s gameboard. The full excitement is the fact that the game will eventually span the world. The grand prize is a trip to space — if you’re interested to experience weightlessness in a space ship while watching a spectacular view of the Earth. That lengtly description is summarized by the organizers in just three words: the ultimate vista.
Do you now know what product is being marketed here? Do you now know who the sponsor is? If you still don’t get it, then read this article to know what the buzz is all about. Geez!
